HALF DAY FISHING CHARTERS
This Four Hour Fishing Charter is our Most Popular Cruise Excursion. Join us on this family friendly excursion taking you to our fantastic local fishing locations. Fish for all five species of Alaska Salmon including King Salmon. After making the most of our time, we'll tie back up right in front of your ship.
FULL DAY FISHING CHARTERS
If you have the extra time, this option is great! Try both trolling for salmon and jigging for Halibut, Snapper and Lingcod. We can include some additional wildlife stops and even have a close look at Ketchikan's historic waterfront.
MULTI-DAY FISHING CHARTERS
Allow us to give you the experience of a lifetime. Take two or more days to truly get the most of your vacation. Start with salmon, next Halibut and bottom fishing. Don't forget wildlife and historic Ketchikan. Once you have caught enough fish, we can go crabbing for sweet Dungeness Crab. Last, perhaps take an unforgettable trip to the Misty Fjords National Monument to see our 3,000 foot fjords up close, aptly named "Alaska's Grand Canyon".
Dungeness Crab Charters in Ketchikan
If you desire a true Alaskan experience at its best, this trip allows everyone on board to fish for Dungeness Crab, using their personal crab trap. They will learn how to bait the trap, set and retrieve their personal crab ring. All gear and bait is provided and rubber gloves available for those who prefer them. Minimum is 8 passengers. Fishing license is needed.
You will be whisked away right from your ship out to a secluded inlet, where the water is calm and no ocean swells. On the way you will enjoy a brief harbor tour, may see eagles and cross areas where whales, porpoise and other sea life often cross our path.
Guest will learn how to retrieve their trap, sort the catch, throwing the female and under 6.5 inch males back and keep the larger males (this keeps the crab resource abundant and does not damage the eco balance).
After fishing you then travel to a secluded anchorage where you will be shown how to clean the catch and you may actually do hands on if want to try and then cook the catch and have a crab feed on board.
